The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF), which markets its dairy products under the Nandini brand, is gearing up to introduce Splash, a whey-based energy drink, coinciding with the T20 Cricket World Cup.

Under the Nandini brand, KMF will sponsor Scotland and Ireland teams for the T20 cricket World Cup, scheduled to be co-hosted by the West Indies and the United States from June 1-29.

MK Jagadish, KMF Managing Director, told Moneycontrol, "We are excited to launch Nandini Splash, a whey-based energy drink featuring diverse flavours such as mango, orange, lychee, and lemon. Our focus is on the US market, aligning with the event."

Expanding its footprint, KMF plans to inaugurate two additional Nandini parlours (Nandini Cafe Moo) in the UAE: Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, soon after the Lok Sabha elections. Currently, KMF operate one parlour in Dubai.

Jagadish highlighted KMF's international presence, including markets in the Middle East, Singapore, Bhutan, and Myanmar, with some frozen sweets even reaching the US.

The federation plans to launch a series of new products and ensure their availability in the US during the World Cup. "It's an excellent opportunity to showcase our global expansion and offer a taste of the diverse Nandini brand," Jagadish added.
