IndiGo passenger gets seats without cushion on Bengaluru-Bhopal flight: 'Hope I land safely'

The passenger named Yavanika Raj Shah took to X (formerly Twitter) to share how after getting into the IndiGo Bengaluru-Bhopal flight, she found her seats to be without any cushion and hoped to land safely.

An IndiGo passenger encountered a troubling experience recently, after she received seats without cushion on entering a Bengaluru-Bhopal flight. The passenger named Yavanika Raj Shah took to X (formerly Twitter) to share how after getting into the flight, she found her seats to be without any cushion and hoped to land safely.

"Beautiful @IndiGo6E-I do hope I land safely. This is your flight from Bengaluru to Bhopal 6E 6465," the passenger wrote.

The airline responded to the passenger's query and said that the seat cushions were replaced before the flight took off for cleaning purposes.

Ma'am, thank you for speaking with us. The seat cushions were replaced prior to the flight for cleaning purposes. Our cabin crew promptly informed the customers who were allotted these seats. This is a standard practice for cleaning during transit as and when required. (1/2)

This is, however, not the first instance of a passenger entering a flight to find out there was no cushioning on his/her seat.

In November, another IndiGo passenger, who was flying from Pune to Nagpur, was left stunned after finding out that her seat did not have a cushion to sit on.
