Indian superstars Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt attended the Joy Awards 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where a photograph of the stars with actors from across the globe, including Sir Anthony Hopkins, went viral on social media. The event also witnessed the convergence of cinematic legends, sports stars, and influencers, from the east and the west.

The snapshot, initially shared by Saudi adviser Turki Al Al-Shikh on Instagram, received acknowledgment from Salman Khan himself who also posted it.

Salman Khan presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to Egyptian actor Essad Youniss while Alia Bhatt was bestowed with the Honorary Entertainment Makers Award. A video circulating on social media captured the actress delivering her acceptance speech, where she expressed her deep connection to cinema, stating, "I'm obsessed with movies, that's all I know... Here's to the magic of movies."
