Emmy Awards 2024: When and where to watch in India, nominees, presenters

The Emmy Awards can be watched on Tuesday at 6.30 am in India.

The glittering lights of the Emmy Awards are set to shine twice as bright this year, as the 75th edition, delayed by Hollywood labor disputes, is all set to grace the stage on January 15, 2024. The event will celebrate the best in American television programming from June 1, 2022, to May 31, 2023.

Originally slated for September 2023, the 75th Emmy Awards faced an unprecedented delay due to Hollywood labour disputes, eventually finding a new date on January 15. The ceremony will unfold live at the Peacock Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California.

For the Indian audience, the show kicks off at 6:30 am IST on January 16, with Lionsgate Play offering live-streaming.

Anthony Anderson, the actor and comedian, will step into the spotlight as the host for the 75th Emmy Awards. He is known for his performance in the Emmy-Award winning comedy series "Black-ish" and memorable roles in films like "Kangaroo Jack," "The Departed," "Transformers," and "Small Town Crime.” He has hosted the NAACP Image Awards eight times.

This year there is an extended eligibility window, spanning from June 1, 2022, to May 31, 2023. As per the rules of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, TV shows that bid adieu a while back find themselves in contention with never-lucky shows like “Better Call Saul” getting a last shot at the prize.
