Bajrangi Bhaijann review: A must-watch movie

All hail Bajrangi Bhaijaan! There is something surreal about Salman Khan and his movies. He manages to strike a chord in one’s heart with such simplicity and ease that we can't stop raving about him and Salman Khan as Bajrangi Bhaijaan has done it yet again.

The movie is Salman’s best ever-performance and we literally mean it when we say that. Director Kabir Khan knows exactly what he and Salman can deliver together.Being a Bajrang Bali devotee, Salman gives us a lesson or two on secularism and the way he has touched every aspect without sounding blasphemous is commendable. However, in a country where getting offended is a self-made fundamental right, we foresee that there might be objections to a couple of dialogues in the movie. Though we are not being a soothsayer here, but we love to get offended on even the smallest thing which doesn’t harm at all, isn’t it?So there is a scene in the movie where Salman is asked ‘Kaise pata ki wo Brahman ki bacchi hai?’. He replies to it by saying, ‘Itni gori jo hai, zaroor Brahman hogi’. But the moment she expresses her desire to devour chicken, he thinks she is a Kshatriya. Leaving everything aside, it is Salman and his charm that casts a spell on us.Salman’s fans have never expected terrific acting from him. For, his antics and the gravity-defying fight scenes are enough to make his films paisa vasool. But ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ will show you the ‘Being Human’ aspect of Salman and you won’t be able to stop those tears rolling down your eyes, just like we couldn’t while watching it. The adorable Harshaali Malhotra will woo you with her innocence. And Nawazuddin Siddiqui takes this movie to another level with his effective acting skills. Nawazuddin plays a Pakistani journalist who helps Salman in finding Munni’s parents in Pakistan. No doubt as an actor Nawazuddin is class apart and his simplicity makes us go gaga over him. Salman and Nawazuddin together share a crackling chemistry and enjoyed watching them together in search of the lost girl’s parents.
