    Adnan Patrawala murder: Verdict likely today

    A Mumbai Court is likely to give its verdict in the 2007 Adnan Patrawala kidnapping and murder case on Monday. 16-year-old Adnan was allegedly murdered by 5 of his friends on August 19, 2007.

    A Mumbai Court is likely to give its verdict in the 2007 Adnan Patrawala kidnapping and murder case on Monday. 16-year-old Adnan was allegedly murdered by 5 of his friends on August 19, 2007.


    The accused had befriended Adnan. They later kidnapped him and demanded a ranson of 2 crore from his family. Police found Adnan's body on the Palm Beach Road in Navi Mumbai. He had been strangled to death.


    The accused Sujit Nair, Amit Kaushal, Ayush Bhat, Rajeev Dhariya and a minor were later arrested. They have been charged with kidnap, murder, extortion and destruction of evidence.
