Nothing launches ‘India-exclusive’ blue coloured variant of Phone 2 (a): Price, availability and more

Carl Pei-led consumer tech startup Nothing has launched a new variant of the Phone 2(a). The Phone 2(a) now gets a blue colour variant and will be exclusively available in India only.

The Phone 2 (a) Blue will be available on Flipkart at a first-day discounted price of Rs 19,999. Furthermore, Nothing has also announced a zero-hour live sale which will give buyers a chance to win CMF by Nothing products. The smartphone will go on sale on May 2. Nothing Phone 2(a) was launched earlier this year at a starting price of Rs 23,999. It is expected that the Blue variant of the phone will sell at that price point once the limited-period sale is over.

Nothing Phone 2(a): Features and specs

Apart from the blue colour, nothing else has changed on the Phone 2(a). There is a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 1,300 nits of peak brightness. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor and can be paired with up to 12GB RAM. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB.

In terms of camera specs, there’s a 50MP primary camera with f/1.88 aperture alongside a 50MP ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture. For selfies and video calls, there is a 32MP front camera on the Phone 2(a).

The Phone 2(a) comes with Android 14 topped with its layer of Nothing OS 2.5. Recently, Nothing announced that with the latest update, Phone 2(a) gets support for ChatGPT among other features.

The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. In terms of durability, the phone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection on the front and has IP54 rating.
