Earlier this month, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi introduced its Note 15 series in select global markets, which included the Redmi Note 15, Note 15 Pro 5G, and Note 15 Pro+ 5G. A few days ago, the brand revealed that the Redmi Note 15 will debut in India on January 6 alongside a separate Redmi Note 15 5G 108 MasterPixel Edition. Now, the company has confirmed the key specifications of the smartphone, including its chipset and display details.
Redmi Note 15 5G: Expected specifications, priceThe dedicated microsite on Amazon for the upcoming Redmi Note 15 5G has now revealed that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. The processor is said to offer a 10% GPU boost, 30% CPU boost, and 48 months of lag-free performance. Moreover, the Redmi Note 15 5G will house a 5,520mAh battery, which is claimed to offer ‘1.6 days of usage.’
The phone is also confirmed to run on HyperOS 2, which means that it will boot with Android 15 out of the box. Previously, Redmi had already revealed that the phone will sport a tall 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It is also confirmed to come with a 108MP primary camera, like the global model.
Redmi has already confirmed that the phone will be priced in the sub- Rs 20,000 price segment. It will be available for purchase from Amazon. More details about the Redmi Note 15 5G are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks, as we head closer to its launch on January 6.
