Honor X9B, Honor Choice Watch, Choice X5 earbuds launched in India: Price, specifications

Chinese tech major Honor returned to the Indian market in 2023 in a partnership with Indian firm Honor Tech.

HonorTech, the Chinese company that returned to the Indian market in 2023, has launched the Honor X9B smartphone in India. Along with phone, the company also launched the Choice Watch and Choice X5 earbuds.

The Honor brand, initially a sub-brand to Huawei retreated from India in 2022, and was spun off into a separate entity when Huawei sold the brand in 2020.

It entered the Indian market again in 2023, this time in a partnership with Gurugram-based Honor Tech, which acquired the licenses and technology for an, "agreed upon cost".

Honor X9B: Price and Specifications

The smartphone has been priced starting at Rs 25,999 for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. If you have an ICICI bank card, you can avail a Rs 3,000 discount bringing the effective price down to Rs 22,999.

The company also has a special offer where customers can avail up to Rs 5,000 exchange bonus on old phones on the first sale day, i.e. - starting 12 noon on February 16.

Besides this, the company will include a charger worth Rs 699 in the box as an introductory offer, and also add a Honor Protect Plan worth Rs 2,999 that entails free screen replacement for six months, and an assured 30-day buyback up to 90% of the cost, if you are not satisfied with the phone.

The X9B features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 2652 x 1200, along with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM. On the back of the phone is a triple camera module with an 108-megapixel main sensor, a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel sensor. The phone has a 5,800mAh battery.

Honor Choice Watch: Price and specifications

The Honor Choice Watch will be available starting on February 24 at a price of Rs 6,499. The company is running an introductory offer that will give customers a Rs 500 discount.

The Choice Watch features a 1.95-inch AMOLED display and has built-in GPS along with support for SOS calling. The company says the Watch has a 12-day battery life. The Watch is paired with a Honor Health app, which the company says can "monitor health benefits".

It can track up to 120 workouts and has 5 ATM water resistance, which means it can survive 10 minutes in water up to 50 meters.

Honor Choice X5 earbuds: Price and specifications

The Choice X5 earbuds will be available starting February 16 from 12 noon, at a price of Rs 1,999. The buds have an in-ear design with 30dB active noise cancellation. The company is promising up to 35 hours of battery life with the case.
