Skoda Rapid Ultima launched in India at Rs 8.33 lakh

Skoda has launched the Rapid Ultima, a limited edition of the Rapid model in India. The car will be available from March 1 in showrooms and is priced starting from Rs 8.33 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The car will be offered in two trims- Elegance and Ambition Plus.The Ultima will be on offer for 30 days or till stocks last.

Skoda Rapid Ultima Edition. The Ultima differentiates itself from the standard version on the outside by virtue of decals which start from the bonnet, go over the roof and all the way back to the trunk of the car. The shoulder line also gets the same treatment and a new set of seven spoke alloy wheels has been added. Side plaque, door mats and door sill moldings also get the special Ultima branding.

The limited edition gets features such as leatherate seat covers, parking sensors with rear view camera, Garmin and Tom Tom navigation and additional airbags in the middle variant.The power plants available for these models will be both petrol and diesel. The Ultima is also available with an automatic transmission. The gasoline engine pumps out 105PS with a torque rating of 220Nm, while the oil burner produces the same power output of 105PS with a better torque figure of 250Nm.
