Nissan slashes prices of its cars in India

Nissan is happy to pass 100 percent of the tax benefits to our customers, stating they are confident that this will make their products more accessible and drive growth across the range.

Nissan has announced that the benefits of the cut in vehicle excise duty will be passed onto the customer, as they have reduced the prices of the cars in the line-up effectively from 18th February, 2014. The reduction in excise duty is a part of this years interim union budget, as announced by Indian Government recently.The price reduction will apply to Micra Active, Micra, Sunny, Evalia, Terrano and Teana, and the will range in between 4-6 percent.

Announcing the new prices, Kenichiro Yomura, resident, Nissan India Operations said, The reduction in excise duty is a welcome move towards revival of the Indian automobile industry. We at Nissan are happy to pass 100 percent of the tax benefits to our customers. We are confident this will make our products more accessible and drive growth across the range.
