Bajaj Auto, the Indian two-wheeler manufacturing giant, has launched two new variants of its popular electric scooter, the Chetak. The Chetak Premium 2024 and Chetak Urbane 2024 were unveiled as the latest additions to Bajaj Auto's lineup.

The Chetak Premium 2024, priced at Rs. 1,35,463 (ex-showroom Delhi), features advanced functionality like TecPac, and a 5-inch TFT display, which is one of the most significant characteristics of the scooter. The optional TecPac offers features like turn-by-turn (TBT) navigation, play, pause and change music, receive call alerts, and personalised display themes. The Chetak Premium has an onboard 800W charger that can power up to give you a range of 15.6 km within just 30 minutes.

The Chetak Urbane 2024, on the other hand, is priced at Rs. 1,15,001 (ex-showroom Delhi) and is available in four colors - Coarse Grey, Cyber White, Brooklyn Black, and Indigo Metallic Blue. Both variants boast a top speed of 73 km/h and an increased range of 127 km, thanks to the all-new 3.2 kWh battery.

In addition to the above features, the TecPac also introduces the Hill Hold Mode, easing the driving experience on inclines. It also includes a reverse mode equipped with Sequential Rear Blinkers, self-cancelling blinkers, left and right control switches, electronic handle and steering locks, seat switches, and a helmet box lamp.

The Chetak Premium 2024 also has a "Green Score" feature, allowing users to keep track of their carbon footprint reduction, fuel consumption reduction, and monetary savings. The fully loaded e-scooter features a larger boot and is available in a variety of vibrant colours such as Indigo Blue, Brooklyn Black, and Hazelnut, making it a stunning mix of style and durability.
