Zebronics launches the ZebStation Lite, a battery operated portable speaker

Zebronics has announced the launch of the ZebStation Lite, a battery operated portable speaker. According to the company, the one feature of the player that stands out is that it is ready to use and play at all times – users just need to plug in an SD/MMC card or USB flash drive into the built-in card slot or USB port respectively and the device will playback the music. Alternatively, users can connect their cell-phones or laptops to use it as a speaker system, through an A/V cable provided with the package.

The ZebStation Lite has a built-in FM radio with the ability to preset and store stations. A soft-glow display tells users the current station tuned (when in FM mode) or the track being played (when in MP3 player mode). The ZebStation Lite comes in two colours - black and silver. According to the company, though the device is small in size, it is capable of producing a good sound quality.

The portable speaker has a built-in battery, which can be charged through the bundled USB cable and it also comes with a 3.5mm-to-3.5mm stereo cable to connect to devices like mobile phones, mp3 players and laptops. The ZebStation Lite is available from computer accessories and electronics stores at a price of Rs. 990.
