Dilip Buildcon posted a strong set of Q2 earnings. The EBITDA has jumped over 80 percent for the company this quarter aided by lower other expenses. In an interview with Rohan Suryavanshi, Head of Strategy and Planning at the company discussed all the details.
The company has won orders of Rs 8,000 crore plus this year, which include Rs 3,000 crore in mining and expect a revenue of Rs 700-800 crore from mining project in next 3-4 years.
The Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) contractor has bagged an order to build a 67-kilometer long road in the Tuljapur to Ausa section of the National Highway - 361.
Most the debts for projects are well secured because they are based on annuity projects, said Rohan Suryavanshi, Head-Strategy & Planning, Dilip Buildcon.
The company, which is primarily engaged in construction of roads and highways, expects to close this fiscal with over Rs 4,000 crore in revenue as compared to Rs 2,600 crore in 2014-15 fiscal.
