Woman held for extorting Thai monks of over Rs 100 crore after sex. 80,000 photos, videos found

The case came to the attention of authorities in mid-June, following the sudden departure of the head of a Bangkok monastery. The police found that the abbot reportedly 'had a relationship' with the woman. She extorted about Rs 1.8 crore from him after pretending to be impregnated by him.
