    Indian benchmark indices ended on a flat note in the highly volatile session on February 7 ahead of RBI policy outcome. At close, the Sensex was down 34.09 points or 0.05 percent at 72,152.00, and the Nifty was up 1.10 points or 0.01 percent at 21,930.50. About 1,932 shares advanced, 1,339 shares declined, and 60 shares remained unchanged. State Bank of India, Grasim Industries, JSW Steel, HDFC Life and Axis Bank were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Tech Mahindra, Power Grid Corporation, Infosys, Adani Ports and TCS.     2G scam: CBI disapproves bail plea of corporate honchos

    The CBI trail court opposed the bail plea of the five accused in the 2G mobile licence and spectrum allotment scam on Wednesday. On April 15, the court will decide whether the accused need to be remanded to custody or be granted bail as they have cooperated with the investigation, reports CNBC-TV18's Siddarth Zarabi quoting sources.
