On January 28, Union Health Ministry Harsh Vardhan said that India has flattened its COVID-19 curve and 146 districts in the country have reported no new cases in the last seven days.

Meanwhile, a new study by the Economist Intelligence Unit stated that the vaccination drive in India and China will stretch till late 2022.
