Sulajja Firodia Motwani, founder and CEO, Kinetic Green, told Moneycontrol that the company is aiming to achieve sales of 1 lakh units of this model during FY 2024-25. She revealed that it will be a highly indegenised product, with everything barring battery cells, being built in the country.

Separately, Motwani had told PTI recently that the timing of the introduction is "absolutely right" in terms of the brand, the product, the economy, and the price. In her view, the company has seen "good traction" on both passenger and last-mile segments of the e-moped.

The 2kWh battery that powers the E-Luna has a stated range of 110 km, and it will take 4 hours to fully charge. The price listed above includes a portable charger. The E Luna will eventually be offered in two further models, each with a 3.0 kWh and 1.7 kWh battery. The former has a stated range of 150 km on a single charge.

The Kinetic E Luna may be reserved for a nominal fee of Rs 500, and the manufacturer has stated that all dealerships would start offering delivery "soon," but they haven't provided a specific date. The E Luna is also available for purchase on online retailers like Amazon and Flipkart.
