Nifty Open Interest PCR was down at 1.37 versus 1.41. Highest OI outstanding was seen at 6000 Put and 6300 Call.
Crude lost 2.5% and was down to USD 89/barrel. Crude fell despite bullish inventory data. It is currently trading at USD 89 a barrel.
Indian ADRs ended mostly in red on Tuesday. In Telecom space, Tata Communication was down 2.09% at $ 11.73 and MTNL was down 1.89% at $ 2.6. In Banking space, HDFC Bank was down 2.91% at $ 164.57 and ICICI Bank was down 5.46% at $ 48.31.
FIIs were net buyers of Rs 109 crore in Index Futures and net buyers of Rs 132 crore in Index Options on Tuesday. However, FIIs were net sellers of Rs 487 crore in Stock Futures.
In the commodity space- oil prices tumbled 2.4% to USD 89.38 per barrel, as profit taking took its toll. Crude notched a session lows at USD 88.36, its worst levels in 2 weeks. It is trading at USD 89.03 per barrel.
At 7: 42 am (IST), Asian markets were trading lower. China's Shanghai Composite was down 0.67% or 19.20 points at 2,833.45. Hong Kong's Hang Seng was flat at 23,650.18. Japan's Nikkei was down 0.11% or 11.40 points at 10,386.70. Singapore's Straits Times shed 0.18% or 5.75 points at 3,244.54.
