Highest OI outstanding witnesses at 6000 Put, 6300 Call

Nifty Open Interest PCR was down at 1.37 versus 1.41. Highest OI outstanding was seen at 6000 Put and 6300 Call.

FIIs were net sellers of Rs 487 crore in Stock Futures; which open interest (OI) was up by 13301 contracts. Stock Futures added 1.67 crore shares in OI.


Nifty Open Interest PCR was down at 1.37 versus 1.41. Highest OI outstanding was seen at 6000 Put and 6300 Call.


Cash based selling and fresh shorts were seen in SBI. The stock lost 3%; its OI was up 19% and delivery volume increased at 13.8 lakh shares as against 2.1 lakh.


Speculative buying was seen in Suzlon Energy and Bata India. Suzlon was up 2.6%; its OI was up 2%. Bata India rallied 8.2%; its OI was up 86%.


Cash based buying and fresh longs were seen in AREVA T&D. The stock gained 5%; its OI was up 19% and delivery volume jumped at 7.2 lakh shares versus 2 lakh.

Cash based buying was seen in Praj Industries. The stock rose 4%; its OI was down 8% and delivery volume increased at 25.7 lakh shares versus 6.5 lakh.
