Rama Ekadashi 2023: One of the most important Ekadashis, Rama Ekadashi holds immense religious significance. This year Rama Ekadashi is being observed during Krishna Paksha in Kartik month, which is November 9, 2023.

Kartik Month is believed to be sacred and one of the favourite months of Lord Krishna.

Rama Ekadashi 2023 significance: Also known as Rambha Ekadashi or Kartik Krishna Ekadashi, devotees observe fast and offer prayers to Lord Vishnu during this time.
The Rama Ekadashi Vrat, according to Hindu religion, is believed to be one of the most important Ekadashi fasts. Those who do it diligently can atone for all their sins. It is believed those who fast on Rama Ekadashi go directly to VaIkunth dhaam, the dominion of Lord Shri Hari.

One Rama Ekadashi Vrat is equal to a hundred Rajasuya Yagyas or one thousand Ashvamedha Yagyas. Those who worship Lord Vishnu receive wealth, health and prosperity.

Rama Ekadashi 2023: Puja Rituals
1. Wake up early and take a holy dip.
2. Clean house and puja room.
3. Clean Lord Vishnu's idol with panchamrit.
4. This idol should be placed on a wooden plank. Offer the diety panchamrit and tulsi patra.
5. Chanting Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaye during day.
6. In the evening, recite Vishnu Sahasranaam and Shri Hari Stotram.
7. Break your fast with a satvik meal
8. Fast ends Dwadashi Tithi during Parana Time.
9. If one can't fast have bhog prasad in the evening. This includes fried potatoes, dairy products and fruits, which are considered satvik
10. Those fasting should abstain from any negative thoughts and activities
