Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Centre declares half-day holiday for central government offices on January 22

Apart from government offices, many states have also announced holidays to celebrate the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

The Union government on Thursday informed that all central government offices to be closed for half day on January 22 in view of 'Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha' in Ayodhya.

In light of the 'Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha' ceremony in Ayodhya on January 22, Union Minister Jitendra Singh announced the closure of all central government offices for half a day.

The decision, driven by overwhelming public sentiments, aims to allow officials to participate in or observe the significant event.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released commemorative postage stamps on the Ram Mandir and a book containing stamps issued on Lord Ram from around the world.

Apart from government offices, many states have also announced holidays to celebrate the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Notably, Ayodhya is getting decked up for the "Pran Pratishtha" of the Ram Mandir on January 22 and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Yogi Adityanath and other special invitees, are set to attend the mega event.
