PM Modi arrives in Andhra Pradesh; CM Naidu welcomes him
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the state, where the PM will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for multiple development projects.
In a post shared on X, CM Naidu said, "On behalf of my people of Andhra Pradesh, I warmly welcome our Hon'ble Prime Minister, Shri @narendramodi Ji, to our state."
Meanwhile, according to the official announcement, PM Modi will perform a Pooja and participate in Darshan at the Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Varla Devasthanam, situated in the Nandyal district. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Thursday said India’s top priority is to safeguard the interests of the consumers, adding that the import policies are guided entirely by this purpose.

Mayawati to address key BSP meeting in Lucknow on Thursday
BSP chief and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati will address a crucial meeting of the party's state-level office-bearers in Lucknow on Thursday, the party said in a statement. The meeting, to be held at the Bahujan Samaj Party's (BSP) Uttar Pradesh state office, has been convened to acknowledge and appreciate the "commendable missionary contribution" of party functionaries and supporters towards the "historic success" of the statewide mega event organised on October 9 to mark the 19th death anniversary of BSP founder Kanshi Ram. According to the party's media invite, Mayawati will express gratitude to workers and office-bearers across all levels for their efforts and will also provide important directions for the party's future course of action.
