Independence Day 2024: As India gets ready for 78th Independence Day celebrations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has issued a special appeal for every citizen.

Changing his social media handle display picture on X, PM Modi has urged every citizen to make ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign a super success. He has asked people to change their DPs to India’s National flag and hoist tricolor at their homes.

So, how can you buy the flags online? While there are many versions available both offline and online, India Post is selling the correct, government-approved flags on its site. The sale has begun and will continue till August 13.

How to place order on India Post?

'Step 1: Type the below mentioned link in your address bar and visit the site. You need to register on India Post to make the purchase. www.epostoffice.gov.in/ProductDetails/Guest_productDetails

Step 2: Once you have registered as a verified buyer, use your credentials to login the site.

Step 3: Here, you will find ‘products’ as one of the tab. Click on ‘National Flag’ tab and add to your shopping cart.

Step 4: Now go to your cart and click on ‘Buy now’ prompt. You will be asked to submit an OTP sent to your mobile number

Step 5: After submitting OTP, click on ‘Proceed to Payment’ tab

Step 6: Here, you will be directed to make Rs 25 payment by UPI or netbanking
