Congress leader Pawan Khera on Monday hit back at the Election Commission after being accused of holding two voter ID cards.
“My lawyers have responded today. The election commission is lying. We have caught them lying. I only have one vote. I had done all the formalities,” Khera said in Chennai.
He alleged that the Commission’s failure to delete names from voter lists exposes its inefficiency. “This strengthens what Rahul Gandhi has been saying from August 7th, that the election commission is in a mess… those names are then misused by the BJP to give themselves extra votes,” Khera said.
