Gujarat Gas up 4% on PNGRB nod for gas distribution in Amreli

"Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has granted to company, an authorisation to lay, build, operate or expand city or local natural gas distribution network (CGD network) for geographical area of Amreli district in Gujarat," the gas distribution company said in its filing.

    Gujarat Gas shares rallied more than 4 percent on approval for gas distribution in Amreli district.

    "Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has granted to company, an authorisation to lay, build, operate or expand city or local natural gas distribution network (CGD network) for geographical area of Amreli district in Gujarat," the gas distribution company said in its filing.

    The oil & gas regulator has granted 300 months of infrastructure exclusivity valid upto May 26, 2041 and 60 months of marketing exclusivity valid upto May 26, 2021 for CGD network.

    At 13:21 hours IST, the scrip of Gujarat Gas was quoting at Rs 533.40, up Rs 6.55, or 1.24 percent on Bombay Stock Exchange.
