Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com told CNBC-TV18, "Coal India has a disappointing chart. I have been upbeat. We caught the rally from Rs 260 to Rs 400 and now we are back at Rs 270-280 again. So Coal India continues to be a short sell. I do not know what is going on there."

"Tata Communications which is now going through a deep correction has already done a lot of distribution at higher levels and is now going lower; having lower highs-lower lows - that is a short sell," he added.

"Shriram Transport Finance Corporation is one non-banking financial company (NBFC) that has underperformed while the others have done far better, relative strength for this versus the other NBFCs has been poor; it is willing to go down at the first instance. So this is a short sell. It is a positional trade also, so all three shorts are positional trades."

"On my buy list the stocks are Larsen & Toubro and Marico. L&T is in a trading range and willing to go higher. I am upbeat on Marico and I have been upbeat on FMCG stocks for a long time and I continue that."
