How to make a garden seater with concrete blocks

Since most of the garden furniture cost a bomb, one is always forced to stick to using foldable chairs, rugs and cushion. You no longer need to skim through the outdoor furniture booklet and whine! Here is a quick DIY tutorial that lets you build a contemporary outdoor seating arrangement using concrete hollow bricks.
Material needed
12 concrete hollow bricks 4 long pieces of wood Concrete adhesive Paint Rope Mattress/foam rug Cushions
Method
Step 1
Begin by ensuring that the place where you are gonna place your arrangement is level. Now start by placing four hollow bricks vertically on two sides. Ensure you leave about eight feet gap between both the slabs. Place two concrete hollow bricks horizontally over the vertically ones and set it aside.
Step 2
Now feed 4×4 size wooden slabs through the hollow bricks’ holes and ensure you have at least 6 inches of wood hanging out. Now being to strengthen things by sticking the cinderblocks with each other using concrete adhesive. Set it aside till the adhesive dries.
Step 3
Now using a paint brush, paint the exterior of the concrete slab and set it aside to dry. Once dried, feed the wooden logs within the holes and secure them using a rope.
Step 4
To add a seater base, you could either use a deep seating cushion or foam sheet and cover it with some vinyl sheet. But if you have an old mattress lying around, cut it according to seater’s size and cover it with some fabric.
Now throw in a few cushions over your seater, and there you have your own urban-rustic garden seater that was built on a shoe string budget!
