Indian Hotels Company Ltd (CMP: Rs 214; Market Capitalisation: Rs 25,438 crore) has posted better-than-expected results as COVID-19 cases fell and improved vaccinations led to a strong recovery in travel demand.
While leisure demand continued to remain strong, corporate demand is expected to recover. With the upcoming festive as well as the marriage season, we expect IHCL to reach closer to the pre-COVID levels in Q3FY22.
