Vistara-Air India merger: How will flyers be impacted?
The merger between Vistara and Air India is approaching its final stages, with Vistara set to cease operations on November 11. This comes after the Indian government approved Singapore Airlines' foreign direct investment of Rs 2,058.5 crore in the Air India Group. Starting 3rd September 2024, customers will, progressively, no longer be able to make bookings with Vistara for travel on or after 12th November 2024. Read more here

Broader indices hit record high; 40 smallcaps give double digit return
The broader indices reached new record highs in the week ending August 30, though they underperformed compared to the main indices, which also surged to fresh all-time highs. This rally was fueled by positive global sentiment following the latest Jackson Hole meeting, where the outcome suggested a potential rate cut by the Federal Reserve in the upcoming September meeting. Bajaj Housing Finance IPO to open between September 9-11; to raise Rs 6,560 crore
The highly anticipated initial public offer of Bajaj Housing Finance, the first from the Bajaj group in several years will open between September 9 and September 11, according to the firm's red herring prospectus (RHP). The total issue size is Rs 6,560 crore (primary portion of Rs 3,560 crore and secondary portion of Rs 3,000 crore). The price band will be issued on September 3 while the anchor portion will be on September 6, according to the RHP filing. Read details here
