Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) inaugurated its 3,000th Arena sales outlet located in Ludhiana, Punjab, on May 17. With this, the passenger vehicle market leader now covers 2,500 towns and cities nationwide through its sales network.
Maruti Suzuki India Ltd MD & CEO Hisashi Takeuchi noted, "Crossing the milestone of 3,000 ARENA sales outlets shows our constant endeavour to be closer to our customers to offer a delightful buying experience.” According to him, the company sold close to 12 lakh vehicles in 2023-24, through its channel of sales outlets.
It may be recalled that Maruti Suzuki had rebranded the Arena channel in 2017 for customers who are walking in to buy Alto K10, WagonR, S-Presso, Celerio, Eeco, Swift, Brezza (earlier Vitara Brezza), Dzire, Ertiga and other affordable models.
While the company sells premium vehicles like Fronx, Jimny, Grand Vitara, etc, through the Nexa chain of showrooms, Arena and Commercial channels cater to the varied needs of customers. In total, Maruti Suzuki has 3,880 sales touchpoints covering over 2,500 cities.
Recently, Maruti Suzuki rolled out its fourth-generation Swift at Rs 6.49 lakh. Along with the outgoing version, the new Swift will be available for purchase at Maruti Suzuki's 3,000 Arena outlets nationwide.
