Silver rates were trading mixed in major metros of India, while on MCX the prices were trading marginally higher. At 15:21 hrs MCX Silver September contract was trading at Rs 40369 up Rs 71, or 0.18 percent.
The Silver rate touched an intraday high of Rs 40480 and an intraday low of Rs 39960. So far 9729 contracts have been traded. Silver prices have moved down Rs 16950, or 29.57 percent in the September series so far.
MumbaiSpot silver 999 prices gained by Rs 500 at Rs 41300 per one kilogram.
AhmedabadSpot silver 999 prices were up by Rs 50 at Rs 40200 per one kilogram.
ChennaiSpot silver 999 prices slipped by Rs 320 at Rs 40080 per one kilogram.
DelhiSpot silver 999 prices slipped by Rs 460 at Rs 40140 per one kilogram.
JaipurSpot silver 999 prices fell by Rs 400 at Rs 40100 per one kilogram.
