    Asia trading mixed; Shanghai Composite down 1%, Nikkei up

    AT 7: 58 am (IST), Asian markets were trading mixed. China's Shanghai Composite was down 0.82% or 22.78 points at 2,768.57. Hong Kong's Hang Seng was down 0.12% or 28.20 points at 24,255.03. Japan's Nikkei was up 0.36% or 37.70 points at 10,536.74. Singapore's Straits Times was flat at 3,245.85.

    Hong Kong's Hang Seng was down 0.12% or 28.20 points at 24,255.03.


    Japan's Nikkei was up 0.36% or 37.70 points at 10,536.74.


    Singapore's Straits Times was flat at 3,245.85.


    South Korea's Seoul Composite was up 0.15% or 3.13 points at 2,111.30.

    Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted slipped 0.54% or 48.78 points at 8,950.72.
