Ahmedabad-based parenteral products maker Amanta Healthcare is set to hit Dalal Street with its maiden public issue on September 1, being the first IPO in the mainboard segment for next month.

The anchor book of the IPO for only institutional investors will be launched on August 29. The offer will close for all kind of investors on September 3.

The company will finalise IPO share allotment by September 4. Amanta Healthcare shares will be available for trading on the BSE and NSE effective September 8.

The IPO consists of entirely fresh issue of 1 crore equity shares by the company, the red herring prospectus filed with the Registrar of Companies on August 22 showed.

The company has reduced the IPO size in terms of number of shares from 1.25 crore shares mentioned at the time of filing of preliminary papers on February 3, this year, despite no change in the objectives of the issue.

Amanta Healthcare intends to spend Rs 70 crore and Rs 30.13 crore out of IPO proceeds for civil construction work and towards purchase of equipment, plant and machinery for setting up new manufacturing line of SteriPort (the brand name used for large volume parenterals) and for SVP (small volume parenterals), respectively at Hariyala, Gujarat.

The remainder funds will be utilised for general corporate purposes.

Promoters hold 85.6 percent shareholding in Amanta Healthcare, while the balance 14.4 percent shares are owned by public shareholders including alternative investment fund Finavenue Growth Fund.

Amanta manufactures large and small volume parenterals (including fluid therapy-IV fluid, formulations, diluents, ophthalmic, and respiratory care solutions) in six therapeutic segments, and medical devices (irrigation, first-aid solution, and eye lubricants).

The company has seen inconsistency in financial performance in the recent years. Profit in the year ended March 2025 grew by 189 percent to Rs 10.50 crore despite subdued topline numbers, aided by cut down in finance and depreciation costs, and better operating margin performance. Profit in previous year was Rs 3.63 crore.

Revenue from operations during the same period declined 2 percent to Rs 274.7 crore. EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) increased by 3.8 percent to Rs 59.7 crore and margin expanded by 122 bps to 21.72 percent compared to previous year.

Beeline Capital Advisors is acting as the sole merchant banker for the Amanta Healthcare IPO.
