PC Jeweller subscribed 44% on Day 2

    The Rs 609-crore IPO of PC Jeweller has been subscribed 44 percent till Tuesday, as per data available on the National Stock Exchange.


    The issue, which closes today, has received bids for 1.7 crore equity shares as against bids for 3.84 lakh shares (excluding anchor investors' portion).


    The reserved portion of qualified institutional investors, non-institutional and retail investors was subscribed 57 percent, 28 percent and 40 percent, respectively.


    The company already raised nearly Rs 91 crore by allocating 67,16,250 equity shares to 10 anchor investors at upper end of price band of Rs 125-135 per share on Friday.


    Bids can be made for a minimum of 90 equity shares and in multiples of 90 equity shares thereafter. Discount of Rs 5 to the issue price is being offered to retail individual bidders and eligible employees bidding in the employee reservation portion.


    Jewellery manufacturer that expanded its retail network from one showroom in April, 2005 to 30 showrooms plans to increase the network across India with another 20 showrooms by FY14, which will be financed through net issue proceeds of Rs 517 crore.
