Sun TV Network on May 24 reported a 9.07 percent jump in net profit at Rs 414.74 crore in the quarter ended March 31, compared to Rs 380.23 crore in the year-ago period, the company informed the exchanges.

However, the profit declined 8.6 percent sequentially from Rs 453.86 crore in the December quarter, according to the filing.

The firm’s total revenue from operations also rose 14.4 percent to Rs 961.28 crore in the reported quarter from Rs 840.36 crore in the same period last year.

The company's EBITDA was up five percent at Rs 522.9 crore in the fourth quarter against Rs 497.8 crore in the same period a year ago, while the margin came in at 54.4 percent in the reported quarter.

The share price of the company ended May 24 at Rs 666.55 on the BSE, marginally down 0.15 percent.
