Diagnostics player Metropolis Healthcare on May 21 reported 8 percent year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 36 crore for the March quarter of FY 24.
It reported a profit of Rs 33.5 crore in the same period last year.
Revenue came in at Rs 313 crore, up 11 percent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 282 crore.
In operating level, reported EBITDA stood at 25.5 percent for Q4FY24. EBITDA before CSR & ESOP stood at 26.4 percent. Contribution of premium wellness stood at 15 percent in Q4FY24. B2C revenue growth in Mumbai at 20 percent in Q4FY24 YoY.
"Guided by our strategic vision, we have diligently focused on expanding our network, driving volume and revenue growth, and optimizing efficiency, productivity, and margins. We have expanded our footprint significantly, from around 300 towns in FY23 to surpassing 600 towns by FY24, with intentions to extend our coverage nationwide. We are reinforcing our strategy of expanding our footprints venturing into Tier 3 and Tier 4 towns, while also concentrating efforts in vital clusters across our
core geographies," said Surendran Chemmenkotil, CEO, Metropolis Healthcare Ltd in a press statement.
Metropolis Healthcare Limited, the flagship company of the Metropolis group, operates a chain of diagnostic centres in India. It also has presence in eight other countries, including Sri Lanka, Ghana, UAE, Kenya and Mauritius, which account for 16 percent of its revenue.
