Jaypee Infratech Q4 net loss widens to Rs 117 cr

    Jaypee Infratech, a subsidiary of the Jaypee Group, reported widening of loss to Rs 116.62 crore for the fourth quarter ended March, 2016.

    The infrastructure company had consolidated net loss of Rs 46.78 crore for the January-March period of previous fiscal.

    Its income from operations for the quarter, however, went up to Rs 1,236.41 crore, over Rs 790.02 crore for the same period in the last fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.

    For the fiscal year 2015-16, the net loss of the company increased to Rs 298.41 crore from Rs 350.44 crore in the previous fiscal, it added.

    Income from operations declined to Rs 2,888.32 crore as compared to Rs 3,254.88 crore in the last fiscal.
