Le Travenues, operator of ixigo reported loss of Rs 3.46 crore in the September quarter of FY26. The travel technology firm had recorded profit of Rs 13.085 crore during the same period year ago.
“It was not an easy quarter, and yet we continued to grow profitably," said Saurabh Devendra Singh, Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), ixigo.
In Q2 FY26, Ixigo's revenue stood at Rs 282.7 crore from Rs 206.4 crore.
Revenue from operations rose by 37% Year-on-Year (YoY), while Gross Transaction Value (GTV) increased by 23% YoY.
The GTV growth across buses was 51% YoY & flights was 29% YoY in Q2 FY26.
Company's management pointed out at a one-time Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) accounting charge of Rs 26.93 crore in Q2 FY26 on account of early achievement of performance thresholds specified in the grant terms along with share of loss from Fresh bus (an associate company) of Rs 1.47 crore.
"If we were to compare on a like-for-like basis by excluding respective items in both the
periods, our profit before tax would have increased 26% YoY from Rs 19.45 crore in Q2 FY25 to
Rs 24.44 crore in Q2 FY26," Saurabh Devendra Singh, Group CFO, ixigo, said.
Aloke Bajpai, Group CEO, ixigo mentioned the recent fund raise and said that it provides the balance sheet required to fulfil their long term aspiration of delivering the best AI-first customer experience for travel and fuels their expansion into new categories and markets.
