Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys (IMFA) reported a weak set of Q2 numbers on the back of price volatility. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Subhrakant Panda, MD of IMFA spoke about the results and his outlook for the company.
Panda said that ferrochrome has witnessed unusual volatility and that has affected Q2 numbers.
He said that traction on volumes is expected to continue.
Panda is looking at FY18 guidance of 2.35 lakh tonne production.
He further said that the current realisations at Rs 81,000 per tonne.
We have been extremely conservative on debt. However, long-term debt is around Rs 713 crore, he added.
Considering on expanding from 6 lakh tonne to 9 lakh tonne going ahead, said Panda.
