The VIP Industries stock has had a dream run this year with an over 150 percent gain so far this year and they have posted a good set of earnings in Q2 as well. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Dilip G Piramal, Chairman, VIP Industries spoke about the results and his outlook for the company.
Things might change a little bit because our costs are going up considerably and China is becoming quite expensive, he said.
We are doing extremely well, all our brands are doing well, our products range is good, he added.
Our September sales have been a bit higher than normal because of early Diwali. Things are a bit uncertain. There is a great hope that the goods and services tax (GST) rate would come down to 18 percent, said Piramal.
May not see similar kind of increase in margins going ahead, he further mentioned.
