Gujarat State Petronet Q2 net seen down 10% at Rs 120 cr

Key factors to watch out for are gas transmission volumes, guidance on volume growth and pending case on retrospective adjustment of tariffs.

Natural gas transmission company Gujarat State Petronet will declare its second quarter (July-September) quarter earnings today. Analysts expect net profit to fall 10 percent year-on-year to Rs 120 crore and operating profit margin to decline 100 basis points Y-o-Y to 91 percent, according to a CNBC-TV18 poll.

However, net sales may rise 2.5 percent on a yearly basis to Rs 280 crore and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation is likely to increase 1 percent Y-o-Y to Rs 254 crore in the quarter gone by.

Key factors to watch out for are gas transmission volumes, guidance on volume growth and pending case on retrospective adjustment of tariffs, ICICI report said.
