Holidays and education travel group Cox & Kings today reported a profit of Rs 118 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.The company had posted a net loss of Rs 94 crore in the corresponding period last year, Cox & Kings said in a release here.Net revenue of the company went up 13 percent to Rs 685 crore during the quarter under review against Rs 605 crore in July-September quarter of last fiscal."It has been an eventful quarter for us as we continue to build on our business. As for the financial performance for the quarter, our company continues to do well with 13 percent growth in revenues and 13 percent growth in EBITDA. Leisure - India, Education and Meininger continue to be our key growth drivers," Cox and Kings Director Peter Kerkar said.Going forward, the company will continue to build on its strengths to push accelerated growth, he added."The outlook of the industry looks buoyant and tourism, domestic or international, is expected to grow at good pace, which augurs well for us," he said.Headquartered in India, Cox and Kings is the leading holidays and education travel group with operations in 23 countries across four continents.In India, Cox & Kings has presence in 149 cities.
