Apollo Micro Systems Ltd (AMSL) reported a two-fold increase in its consolidated profit after tax, reaching approximately Rs 16 crore for the second quarter ended September 2024, driven by higher income.
The company had recorded a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 6.55 crore in the July-September quarter of the previous fiscal, AMSL said in a statement on Monday.
In the latest second quarter, the company's total income also increased to Rs 161.30 crore from Rs 87.40 crore a year earlier. AMSL provides technology-driven solutions in sectors such as infrastructure, transportation, and aerospace, among others.
In September, the company announced that it had been shortlisted by the Armament Research and Development Establishment (ARDE) under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for technology transfer (ToT) related to the production of PRACHAND munition hardware.
PRACHAND is an anti-tank munition with a full-width attack capability. Through this technology transfer, the company will be able to manufacture and supply PRACHAND munition hardware to the Indian Armed Forces.
