ICT solutions provider AGC Networks reported widening of consolidated net loss at Rs 16.96 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015. The company had reported a net loss of Rs 9.20 crore for the corresponding period last financial year, it said in a BSE filing. Total income from operations of the company also declined to Rs 212.96 crore for the reported period as compared to Rs 224.25 crore last year.
AGC Networks said the acquisition of the business of Ensource, a solution provider focused on unified communications to the healthcare and public sector in the US has begun to significantly improve its relevance in the health care vertical leveraging strengths in innovation, technology and customer experience. "MEA and APAC operations are showing steady improvement and the India BU has recently seen a surge in order booking which augurs well for the business," AGC Networks MD and CEO Anil Nair said. "Maintaining steady business performance through sustained focus on profitability and governance are the key drivers of business," AGC Networks Chief Financial Officer Amal Thakore said.
