GMR Infra Q4 loss after tax seen at Rs 48 cr

GMR Infrastructure is expected to report loss after tax of Rs 48 crore in the quarter ended March 2010 as against profit after tax of Rs 73 crore in same quarter the previous year and loss after tax of Rs 22 crore in previous quarter.

    GMR Infrastructure is expected to report loss after tax of Rs 48 crore in the quarter ended March 2010 as against profit after tax of Rs 73 crore in same quarter the previous year and loss after tax of Rs 22 crore in previous quarter.


    Net sales are seen going up by 31% to Rs 1,469 crore from Rs 1,125 crore during the same period.


    EBITDA is likely to go up by 24% to Rs 389 crore versus Rs 314 crore on year-on-year basis. However, operating profit margin is expected to be at 26.46% as against 27.96% in a year ago period.


    On quarter-on-quarter basis, net sales are seen going up by 8% and EBITDA up by 2%.


    Key factors to watch


    -Gas supply to power plants and traffic growth at Delhi airport to be keenly watched


    -High interest costs and depreciation likely to put pressure on bottom line


    -The Intergen sale during Q4FY11 will help ease the cash flow situation along with helping to increase focus on the domestic biz

    -Earnings likely to remain subdued on account of capitalization of DIAL
