Health and hygiene company Eureka Forbes has come into a partnership with home grown manufacturing and automation company Dixon Technologies for assembly, manufacture and supply of robotic vacuum cleaners.
“This agreement marks a significant milestone for our company as we expand our capabilities in the homecare segment,” said Atul B Lall, vice chairman and managing director of Dixon Technologies (India).
“By combining our advanced manufacturing expertise with Eureka Forbes’s deep market understanding and product leadership, we aim to deliver high-quality vacuum cleaners that meet the evolving needs of consumers and market,” he added.
Dixon Technologies is engaged in manufacturing products in the consumer durables, lighting and mobile phones markets in India. Their product portfolio includes consumer electronics like LED TVs, home appliances like washing machines, lighting products like LED bulbs and tube lights and down lighters.
It also manufactures mobile phones, wearables and hearables, refrigerators, and telecom and IT hardware products.
Last month, Dixon Technologies ramped up its smartphone manufacturing capacity by 50% to meet surging export demand from global clients such as Motorola, Google Pixel, and Transsion Group, with a strategic focus on North American and African markets. The development came amid a shifting geopolitical landscape, as companies seek to diversify their supply chains.
Eureka Forbes’ has positioned itself as a multi-product and an omni-channel company in the last four decades. Its product portfolio includes water purification, vacuum cleaning and air purification. It also has direct, retail, e-commerce and institutional sales channels, business partner and service networks across India.
