Will bounce back to profitability in FY18, says Mukta Arts

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Rahul Puri, MD of Mukta Arts spoke about the latest happenings in the company.

Updating about the demerger of cinema business, Puri said the process is complete and going forward the entire cinema operations will be through wholly owned subsidiary called Mukta A2 Cinemas.

He further said that the effort to achieve 100 screens till end of 2017 is still on.

"We are not looking at acquisition of cinema screens. We are looking at taking over existing running single screens and bringing them under our umbrella", said Puri.

Mukta Arts has no plans to sell non-cinema business.

According to him, they will bounce back to profitability in FY18.
