    Expect Q3FY18 to see loan growth of 4-5% YoY: Muthoot Finance

    We have seen a little uptick in the assets under management (AUM) growth, George Alexander Muthoot, MD of Muthoot Finance said.

    Gold financiers are facing stress in terms of growth. In an interview with CNBC-TV18, George Alexander Muthoot, MD of Muthoot Finance spoke about the latest happenings in his company and sector.

    We have seen a little uptick in the assets under management (AUM) growth, he said.

    The company has started a new scheme for SME lending at a loan of 12 percent with diminishing rate of interest, he added.

    Around 4-5 percent of loan growth we should see in this quarter, said Muthoot.

    Speaking about net interest margins (NIMs), he said, we would like to keep it at 10-12 percent.
