Former SBI boss joins Tata Steel as independent director
Tata Steel BSE -0.55 percent has appointed former SBI BSE -0.55 percent Chairman O P Bhatt as additional non-executive independent director in hte company with effect from today.

Tata Steel BSE -0.55 percent has appointed former SBI BSE -0.55 percent Chairman O P Bhatt as additional non-executive independent director in hte company with effect from today.

He is now on the Boards of reputed Indian and foreign companies," it added.Bhatt hanged up his boots after a five-year stint as SBI chief on March 31, 2011.Shares of the company closed at Rs 290.40 apiece on the BSE, down 0.55 per cent from the previous close.
